October Baby: Shari Rigby

March 23, October Baby comes to theaters! This is me trying to more thoroughly convince you to go see it. It's definitely worth the time and money. I love this clip; Ms Rigby is beautiful and so vulnerable, and God is using her to reach so many people in her situation!

Speaking the truth about abortion while being respectful to those effected by it is a major challenge, but October Baby does it perfectly. It's definitely a must-see.

  1. OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just saw this clip earlier today, IT IS THE BEST EVER! It seriously made me cry, and I don't cry like that that often. I love it how the rest of the world is obsessed with the Hunger Games right now, but Aubry and Becca (and Shannon??? I wouldn't know because you've like disappeared!) are screaming about October Baby!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, actually I'm screaming, Becca's just showing her excitement in different ways, lol. And get this, I just found out that my mom won tickets to it from my local CPC... I didn't even know there was a contest and that my mom entered it, I don't think it's quite fair for my family of all people to be winning tickets from there, haha. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. I do love that while everyone else is talking about the Hunger Games and March Madness, we're equally if not more so excited about October Baby. Your mom won tickets?! That's awesome!! When are you going to go see it?

    2. Hahahaha and also. I cannot WAIT to meet you in real life and hear your screaming. I feel like you scream at me over the Internet a lot, it'll be so interesting to see in real life :)

    3. Aubry, Hi! Hi! Hi! I'm still alive. :) My family isn't in the Witness Protection Program or anything. I was planning on emailing yesterday... and the day before... and the day before that... and yeah, you get the picture.

I can proudly say that I have never read the Hunger Games. I'll watch the movie, after things have cooled down, but I won't read the books... just so I can say I didn't jump on the bandwagon. Same with Harry Potter and Twilight. Believe it or not, there are better books to read. *gasp* Yeah, I pretty much just blew the world away.

All that to say, DITTO! I can't flipping wait for October Baby!! I feel like while everybody else is just hearing about it (I'm seeing people post on FB, etc.), we've seen it grow up. It's like being parents of the president. I've been keeping up with OB for months and months. Something to the effect of: (in a deep, slow, garbled voice) "Finally, the world takes notice of what I have always known."

    4. Lol, okay, yeah, I do scream. Which means I'm fair game for lots and lots (and lots) of teasing. I promise, once we all meet, I'll go easy on you for a little, but if you get me really excited about something and I happen to have eaten a whole bag of sour patch kids 10 minutes earlier, well then, I'm very sorry in advance.

I'm going to see October Baby tonight!!!! I can't freaking wait!

Haha, I've only read one Harry Potter book, and seen absolutely nothing of the movies. I have absolutely no desire to either read or watch Twilight, it just seems a little gross and too popular, haha. And Hunger Games, well, I don't even remotely know the story line, I might go see it in theaters, but I'd rather go see October Baby six times instead, haha.

I love it, "Finally, the world takes notice of what I have always known." I've been tempted to twitter (on my blog account) about it like 3 times just to give random updates that no one cares about (like it was trending in searches higher than Hunger Games yesterday, I know right??)
